Medigap Insurance

Medicare supplement insurance is often referred to as Medigap.  Because it fills the gaps in coverage that are left by medicare.

Medicare was never meant to cover all of your doctor and hospital bills.  Without supplemental insurance, the cost of health care can get out of hand.  Therefore, buying a medicare supplement policy helps cover costs such as co-insurance, deductibles, and co-payments.

Medicare supplement policies are standardized.  These are all regulated by the Federal Government. A medicare supplement insurance policy has the same benefits regardless of which company you select.

Cost and customer service are usually the only difference between Medicare supplement policies.

Medicare supplement insurance plans come in two varieties.  A through G plans provide benefits at higher premiums with limited out of pocket cost.  Plans K through N are cost-sharing plans offering similar benefits at lower premiums and greater out of pocket cost.

Let us help you determine which plan would be most beneficial for you.
